YOU KNOW

WHAT TO EAT.

Doing it is the part that breaks.

Functional nutrition and ADHD coaching for people whose brains don't reliably show up for planning, starting and following through.

Not a meal plan, and not more information. Structures that hold on the days you have the least left.

The gap between knowing and doing

The pattern is real, but the explanation is usually wrong.

You've tried the diets, the programs and the “just eat this way” advice, and they didn't last. That wasn't because you failed. The support never fit your real life.

So there's no meal plan here, nothing to prep on a Sunday, and nothing that quietly assumes a steady supply of executive function you don't reliably have. Most plans fail for that reason and then hand you the blame for it.

The Accessible Nourishment Framework

This is about accessible nourishment.

ADHD is a whole-body experience, which means the support has to be whole-body too. So I built an approach that brings together what most ADHD support keeps in separate boxes.

Systems, not shame. We build the scaffolding, so following through stops depending on how much you have in the tank that day.

The Accessible Nourishment Framework: three overlapping circles for Nutrition, Systems and Behaviour, with Accessible Nourishment where they meet

Nutrition

Steadies the body so the brain has something to run on.

Systems

Takes the decisions out of the moment you're least able to make them.

Behaviour

Regulation, starting, and the skills that carry a normal day.

What changes when the support finally fits your brain

The questions dinner asks: What are we eating? Is it even in the house? How long is this going to take?

Right now

×You know what to eat, and it still isn't happening

×The same evening falls apart the same way every week

×A new plan works for a couple of weeks, then a hard week comes along and it stops

When the support fits

✓Food takes up less space in your head, especially on the days when thinking feels hard

✓The decisions are made before the moment you're least able to make them

✓When energy drops or the day comes apart, there's still something steady underneath you

About Amy

I'm Amy Jones, and I have ADHD too.

I get this because I've lived it. I'm a Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner and a Certified ADHD Life Coach, I spent over twenty years in education, and I'm raising kids with ADHD and ASD. I was also 45 before anyone told me I had ADHD myself, which is its own kind of information to receive.

For years I tried the therapy and the coaching tools and none of it stuck, and the reason wasn't that I wasn't trying. My body was running on empty, and you cannot coach your way out of an unfuelled brain.

So when I say the standard advice doesn't fit, it isn't a theory I read about. It's most of my adult life, and a fair amount of my kitchen. In December I'm speaking at the ADHD2026 International Conference in Baltimore on redesigning food systems for low-capacity days.

We work out which option fits your goals, your capacity and your household, rather than which one is biggest.

3

A few common questions

and the last thing I want to say

If food has been the hardest part of your day for a long time, that was never a character problem. It was a system asking for more than you had available, and we can build you a different one.

My session

Redesigning Food Systems for Low-Capacity Days

The day gets away from you, meals get delayed or skipped, and by night you're eating late because your body is trying to catch up. In this session I walk through why that pattern happens, and how to make meals more visible, more balanced and more workable on hard days.
