Supporting Your Child's Brain Health - A Program for ADHD & Neurodiverse Children

A 12-week program to bring balance to your child's moods and behaviours, soothing daily frustrations and rediscovering their happy and peaceful selves.  This program uses a 'one small step at a time' approach focusing on the 5 pillars of health to soothe and rebalance your child's mood and behaviours. 

Here's what we'll cover in the program:

Nutrition Basics

In this pillar, the focus is on providing foundational knowledge on nutrition, including the components of a balanced plate, healthy fats, proteins, and carbohydrates, and whole food options for each category.

 

Handouts are provided that cover the basics of nutrition and how to create a balanced plate. You will receive guidance on how to stock and swap items in your pantry, fridge, and freezer with whole food options, and how to put together a balanced meal or snack in a pinch.

The Gut-Brain Connection

We will focus on the gut-brain connection, and how gut health can impact ADHD symptoms. We will discuss the biomechanics of the gut-brain axis, the importance of increasing pre and probiotics to nurture this connection with food, ways to reduce toxic load and why it's important, and gut health food swaps.

You will start a food/mood diary to make connections between what your child eats and how they feel.

Blood Sugar Balance

In this pillar, the focus is on understanding the correlation between blood sugar and mood, attention, and overall health.

 

You will learn the top 10 foods to balance blood sugar and receive easy blood sugar balance snacks and breakfast ideas.

 

We will continue the food/mood diary to monitor how blood sugar balance affects your child's behaviour and focus.

Brain Health Basics

In this pillar, the focus is on the basics of brain health, including how the brain works and the role of key nutrients like B vitamins, zinc, iron, magnesium, and vitamin D.

We will also will also build on our knowledge of the gut-brain connection and experiment with ways to exercise the vagus nerve to support ADHD symptoms.

Healthy Family Routines

In this pillar, the focus is on developing healthy family routines around meal and snack timing, hydration, family-style meal basics, and getting kids involved in the kitchen.

 

You will receive a picky eating protocol to help manage mealtime meltdowns, techniques and nutrients needed for improved sleep.

 

We will learn to decode nutrition labels and how to develop healthy family emotional connections around food and mealtimes.

The program includes: 

1 x 90-minute Intake, Assessment, and Goal-Setting Session:

​During this time, we'll get to know your child on a deeper level, pinpoint their unique needs and challenges, and create a customized plan to help them achieve their goals.​

 

1 x 60-minute Health Plan Delivery Session:

We discuss nutrition and lifestyle recommendations to help you achieve your goals provide you with all the tools and support you need to make lasting positive changes for you and your child.​

 

5 x Bi-Weekly Follow-Up Sessions: ​

These sessions are designed to provide you and your child with the support, accountability and motivation you need to stay on track towards your goals. We'll discuss the core pillars of the program, so you can make informed choices that will benefit your child's and family's health and well-being.​

 

5 x Bi-Weekly Check-Ins:

​​During these sessions, we'll discuss your questions, provide you with extra support, and make any necessary tweaks to your health plan.​

 

A Two-Week Meal Plan:

This plan includes mouthwatering recipes, grocery lists, and even prep schedules, so you can breeze through mealtime like a pro. I'll be there to support you every step of the way, so you can stay on track and fuel your child's body and brain with the nourishment it deserves.​

 

Access To Our Private Google Drive Folder:

This super helpful folder is packed with goodies like recorded sessions, handouts, extra recipes, and tons of other fantastic resources to help you stay organized on on-track during our time together and beyond! ​

 

Extra Support Between Sessions:​​​

You'll have access to me between sessions for continuing accountability support and to answer any questions on our journey towards your goals for your child. With private messaging at your fingertips, you'll feel empowered and supported every step of the way.​

 

Investment: $1285 CAD (3 payments of $428 CAD) + HST​
